The 2027 Chevrolet Colorado takes much of what makes the full-size Silverado work and reproduces it at a more manageable scale: body-on-frame construction, a crew-cab body with a 5-foot bed, and a choice of rear- or four-wheel drive. A standard 310-hp turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder and 8-speed automatic give the Colorado an edge over rivals like the Jeep Gladiator.
What the Colorado gives up in outright towing and payload compared to its bigger sibling, it makes up for with easier parking, better maneuverability in traffic and on the trail, and stronger fuel economy across most trims.
