It’s a new year, and that means there’s a new slate of car shows happening in the Kansas City metro area. Many annual shows are returning, while some shows are appearing for the first time. Let’s look at some of the 2025 KC car shows that have been announced. Some of these are happening in the next few weeks, and others will occur in the many coming months in 2025.
Upcoming Car Shows in Kansas City
Caffeine and Chrome
This event is fun and free, and it’s held by Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City. Folks can drive up in their classic car to show it off, or they can come in their everyday ride to check out the classic cars. Either way, you’re welcome to free coffee and pastries while supplies last.

65th Annual World of Wheels
As the title tells us, this car show has been happening for 64 years, and now it’s happening for a 65th time at the end of January. It has multiple fun events, such as appearances from MegaMorph the Transforming Car and the Barbie Pink Cadillac Convertible. Along with those events, there will be showcases and competitions for different types of vehicles, including categories for traditional hotrods, custom cars, and motorcycles. There will also be a prize called the Master Builder Award, which rewards the best car entry that was built with little to no professional assistance.

Santa Fe Trail’s 15th Annual Motorcycle Show
While not quite a car show, this motorcycle show still shows off cool vehicles with motors and interesting designs. It specifically showcases motorcycles that are at least 35 years old, but still appear to run. If classic motorcycles are your thing, this may be the event for you. 2nd Annual Cars and Coffee Kickoff Party
This event doesn’t happen until April, but it’s worth knowing about. Cars and Coffee is a monthly event hosted by the Kansas City Automotive Museum, and this kickoff party starts the next season of these meetups. These monthly events are free, and it will be fun to help get this year’s batch of them started.

Corvette Club of Kansas City’s Spring Fling Corvette Show
As a Chevy dealership, we feel honor-bound to recommend a show that features Chevrolet Corvettes. This show is hosted by the Corvette Club of Kansas City in May, and it’s free to the public. It will feature raffles and a 50/50 drawing, and the proceeds of these things will benefit SOAR Special Needs.
